CROW'S NEST RESEARCH CENTER LESSON PLANS

These lesson plans were developed as part of a workshop for Fredericksburg City Schools educators, led by Ms. Lisa Lewis, at the Crow's Nest Research Center.  After exploring various locations at the Center, each teacher chose a topic for her plan from a list developed by Ms. Lewis.

Crow's Nest Research Center Virtual Poster
The Crow’s Nest Research Center is a great place to bring your learning outdoors. There is so much that one could do with their class while here such as exploring the trails, going on a scavenger hunt to find various plants or creatures, exploring what lives in the pond, creating resources to use in the pond or around the land, and so much more. I created a virtual poster using some photos that I took while at the Crow’s Nest Center to reflect on various ways you could make this place your outdoor classroom.
